Synergy of BUMN, PGE & PLN GG to carry out Joint Study of Geothermal Power Projects

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) and PT PLN Gas & Geothermal (PLNGG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Joint Study for the Development of Geothermal Power Plants. (30/12)

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was done virtually by Eko Agung Bramantyo as PTH President Director of PGE and Moh Riza Affiandi as President Director of PLN GG.

CEO of Subholding Power & New Renewable Energy Pertamina, Heru Setiawan said that with this agreement, both PGE and PLN GG will conduct a Joint Study to conduct a study on the development and optimization of geothermal energy utilization in the working area of PGE and PLN, starting from the Ulubelu Area - Lampung and Lahendong area - North Sulawesi.

"We hope that the synergy carried out by PGE and PLN can have a positive impact on geothermal development in Indonesia," said Heru.

This Memorandum of Understanding aims to synergize the potential of each company in the development of a Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) in the working area of ??PGE and PLN.
