Promoting Impactful Communication, PGE Consistently Expands Public Understanding of Geothermal Energy

Jakarta, December 19, 2025 – PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGE) (IDX: PGEO) continues to affirm its commitment to managing transparent, relevant, and impactful corporate communications. This consistency led to Kitty Andhora, Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk, receiving the Best Corporate Secretary Award 2025 and Best PR Leader 2025 at the Iconomics Summit: The Face of Indonesia, themed "Making Impactful Communication Strategy," held in Jakarta on Wednesday (12/17/2025).

This award, supported by Axia Research, recognizes PGE's strategic role in communicating the Company's operational performance and sustainability agenda openly and consistently. This aligns with PGE's commitment as a public company to implementing the principles of information transparency and good corporate governance.

Kitty Andhora, Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk, stated that this recognition encourages PGE to continue strengthening its communications role in supporting business sustainability and the national energy transition agenda.

The Best Corporate Secretary Awards 2025 and Best PR Leader 2025 are awarded to PR, public relations, and corporate communications practitioners deemed capable of designing and implementing sustainable communications strategies and delivering tangible impacts for the public and stakeholders. Based on the assessment results of The Iconomics Summit 2025, PGE demonstrated consistent communications performance with positive achievements across several key indicators, including business and commercial reputation, leadership and human resources, and social and citizenship contributions.

As a pioneer in geothermal energy development in Indonesia with more than 40 years of experience, PGE currently manages an installed capacity of 727 megawatts (MW) across six independently managed operating areas. PGE is also developing a number of strategic projects, including the Hululais Unit 1 & 2 Geothermal Power Plant (110 MW) and a co-generation project with a total capacity of 230 MW, as part of efforts to strengthen the national clean energy mix.
